Get Wireless is one of the other places listed in State College, Pennsylvania. The business is registered at 220 Regent Ct Ste B, State College, PA 16801; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
Places that do not fit a cafe, bakery, tea, breakfast or nearby-store category land here: tourist attractions, parks and museums with a cafe on site, and unrelated businesses that came in through an import or a Google Maps match. Attraction cafes usually keep the venue's hours and may require admission to reach, so check before making the trip; park kiosks and museum coffee counters are often seasonal. Other listings are kept so that an old address or phone number still resolves and can be re-filed into the right category later.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (814) 867-2100. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, getwireless.net.
Its Google rating stands at 1.7 out of 5 from 38 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
State College is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and State College follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I'm reposting this from several years ago because I believe my insights to be especially informative. Somehow they were able to get my and other old reviews purged. I had horrible internet service (often <1 mbps) and unpleasant confrontational experiences with technicians and management. I am tech savvy and over many weeks gathered overwhelming evidence indicating the problem being them not having anywhere near enough total capacity out to the rest of the internet to handle the normal traffic demanded by their customers: I consistently saw much faster internet speeds when demand would be less, namely late overnight, during school breaks, and Saturdays of home football games. They refused to acknowledge my evidence as such, insisting that the only metric that was relevant to their fulfillment of internet service was the result of the Ookla speedtest to their own server!

Had one of the most unprofessional experiences with this company. After making multiple complaints about outages, with no responses, I canceled my subscription with GetWirless and was charged $150. Even after speaking with their representative Laura and trying to explain the issue, we were met with attitude and unprofessional composure. I canβt recommend avoiding using this companies services strongly enough. If you need any more evidence, look at their responses to past reviews.

--Unreliable mesh network - works for 20 minutes, then I get booted off and it disappears from the list of networks --Customer service can be fast - I had a problem with the info I had on file and it was resolved within an hour. Guy who came to set up my service was really nice and was in and out in like 15 minutes. --Internet goes out 1 or 2 times a week, but it's usually back on after I leave my apartment and am out for a while (a few hours) but it has gone out for up to a day. Sometimes I can bring service back on by unplugging the modem and plugging it back in, but it takes about 30 minutes to come back and sometimes it doesn't work. --Overall, the speed is good and works fine even when I have an ungodly number of tabs open (I have the basic/cheapest service plan and live alone in a one-room apartment)

My wife and I have had service with this company for a few years now and the service was fair when it was installed. We have since canceled it! Over the years however it has continually gotten worse. I have had the technicians out three times to move the antenna and several other times with equipment problems. Getting service for the issues was a lot of trouble. The customer service representativeβs are very rude and incompetent. Getting the technicians to come and repair the issues takes a long time. The only ones that I would commend on doing a good job are the service technicians. If you were thinking about using Get Wireless donβt!!! Go to AT&T and get wireless. Pros. None that I can find Cons. Terrible customer service!! Slow internet connection Bad equipment In conclusion, the only thing I found that they were good at is their billing. They love to get paid!

I don't typically write reviews, but when looking for the address to return our equipment as we are moving, I saw some reviews where people were complaining about issues. I can say that I had service for two years while attending school and never had any issues other than we initially bought a cheap junky router. They helped us quickly identify the issue, we got a good router and never had another issue. I wish I could get their service outside of State College.
